Our Primary Bath Revamp!
Better late than never, it’s now time to do a proper primary bathroom revamp reveal! It’s been a long time coming with this bathroom and to be honest, there were times I wasn’t sure it would ever be finished. But the juice was definitely worth the squeeze and we now have a bathroom that we feel relaxed in and can be proud of showing off for years to come!
I’ll start by saying that our initial bathroom look wasn’t bad, it just was completely made of builder-grade materials that had worn down over time, and really didn’t reflect our personal style at all. We initially had a hard time getting started on this project because we had trouble finding a double 59″ vanity, but struck a bit of luck at our local Floor and Decor with the James Martin vanity that we ended up choosing.
The final touch that I wanted to add once we had done the vanity was the mirrors. The massive mirror that covered the entire wall definitely made the bathroom feel bigger, but really left something to be desired in terms of charm. These 36″ Wayfair mirrors that I found were the perfect match to go with our double vanity. We also had a handyman come in and do some touch-ups around the baseboards and the foot kick at the bottom of the vanity, since there was a tiny bit of open floor space left from the original vanity, but the whole thing came out so nicely! Now I’m definitely feeling like I want to put these mirrors in every bathroom of our house…stay tuned to find out if I pull the trigger or not!
